Astrology 2 – Final Chapter

It has been incredible going through my astrology chart and looking at the times when things happened in my life. Alan also did this and was quite amazed at how his life corresponded with his solar return each year. If one ever has any doubts about astrology, one has only to go to their natal chart and the solar returns – or even transits; it is all there. A few years ago my daughter went through a very dark time financially and I was not surprised to find that she had Saturn in her 2nd house that year. She learned some hard lessons that year as well.

The most amazing thing is that we choose to go through the experiences we have. It is all set up before we are born and, with a solar return chart for the year you are interested in, you can find the answers right there. That is the hardest thing for me because I cannot blame anyone else for what is happening; it is all there in my astrology. I personally am going through a really dark time as Saturn transits my 12th house until October, 2010. The 12th house is very dark because it houses the deep subconscious issues locked away deep inside of us. But with Saturn there it also forces you to go within, as Erin Sullivan, an incredible expert on Saturn, has said: it is all about maturing in private.

Since Saturn went into my 12th house I have been forced to look deep within myself and bring to the surface a lot of past-life energy I did not know was there. Ironically, this year Alan has had to travel to his business 5 hours’ drive away. He is away 3 days a week, and for 3 days I am on my own with the Self bringing up some very nasty stuff. Thankfully I am able to identify with it, but it was (and still is) very lonely. However – even as Saturn tests and teaches – if one learns its lessons, Saturn rewards. Next year I should hopefully get the rewards big time. Oh, I am lucky to have the ability to see the future and know how to use the energy!
