First of all, we were told during that course that there are no accidents; everything that happens is for a reason, even though we cannot see it ourselves at the time. Sometimes we are so angry that we cannot see the blessing behind the event, but there is nothing that is not meant to be. I was in awe of this. Wow! It was hard to comprehend that everything is perfect, but the more I thought about it the more I could see it. Maitreya also came in and told me privately a lot of facts beyond those that helped me personally. The course participants were also told by Spirit that the purpose of the Masters is to help those on the earth plane who need help to conquer their Self. Their role is to work with the Guardian spirit to lead and guide us to the opportunities we need in order to learn the lessons we need to learn.
I was shown one such situation where I had finished with my then-boyfriend and was away from home at the time. I was impressed to leave where I was staying the next day rather than the evening the night before, which I had planned to do. The next day at the bus depot I met a woman who was the cousin of my then-boyfriend. She began talking to me and, during the conversation I became aware that she was talking about my ex. She confirmed this when I asked, and the outcome was that I telephoned him when I got home. Six weeks later we were married. Everything was set up for me to meet her, even my having the strong feeling to leave a day later early in the morning. I often wondered what would have happened if I had not gone in the morning, but the night before. I am sure the Universe would have arranged for it to happen in some other way, but it is interesting to speculate on the outcome.
