Advice and Guidance – Final Words

After I have done any channeling sessions, clearing work, taught courses, or even a day of doing four readings or more, I need to rest either the day after or a few days afterward. It wears me out and, the older I get, the less energy I have to do it with. I am lucky in that I do seem to recover very quickly from working with the energy, and usually after a few days off I am fine. On our return from Curacao recently where we did a lot of work, I was three days just getting to the point where I felt “normal” – and that was not without physical aches and pains. Through all of this, I have Spirit, who is there to help me. On my return from Curacao, I began using the magnesium and am pleased to say that there is an improvement in the area of the problem. Albeit very small, it can be seen.

Please, if you feel you need to write me about my health or any issues you feel I need to be notified about, please do not write me. Some of the things I may need to learn from, while for others I have those in the world of Spirit who not only help me with these issues, but also reiterate them through others. My spirit doctor keeps a very close eye on me also. The work I do is exhausting at times, and yes, I do suffer from stress and exhaustion at times. It is part of my work. Yes, like everyone else, it gets me down at times, but I signed up for this experience and my astrological chart backs this up. I do love what I do, but some people find it hard seeing me when I am at my lowest point and perhaps down and worn out with the pain of the knee or the toll the energy has taken on me. My reward for this is seeing those I have helped walk away on a higher vibration. As Maitreya says; “Once they were blind and could not see, now they do see because you enabled them to do that.” For that, my life has been worth living!

Now II

Question: – Hi. I recently read one of your latest newsletters entitled “Depression” (#292). This message was very helpful to me. Thank you. In the article you basically instructed us, if I understood correctly, to allow ourselves to feel in order to cleanse away past hurts, pains, etc. However, there is currently a lot of discussion on “living in the present moment.” I used to feel sad, cry, and then feel better later. Now, I try to stay in the present moment by pushing away a sad or painful memory that induces depression. Perhaps I do not understand the concept of living in the present moment, so would you please comment on how we can feel our pains etc., and still live in the present moment if it is possible? Thank you.

Answer: By living in the now, one does not worry about the future or live in the past. When one lives in the now, one gives the body permission to release a lot of suppressed emotion. This is often known as depression. When it comes to the surface, one should let it go. If one is not trying to avoid it – which one would do if one were in the now – then it would come to the surface to be cleansed away. When one is not living in the now, then one is concerned over so many things past and future. If one is in the now, then all one concerns oneself with is the now. One can plan for the future, but then let the future happen instead of making it happen. It is not easy to explain; it is far better demonstrated.

Most souls have depression and do not know they have it. Only by being still and living in the now – with no concerns for anything but that moment of time – can one allow all that is buried deep within to come to the surface. As one does this, layer upon layer can be released because there is nothing stopping it. The soul is simply living in the moment. It has total faith that all its needs will be provided. It has no fear, doubt, or insecurity. It is one with the Divine. Free of worry and concern, it can release all that is buried within, often from many previous incarnations. As one cleanses away the deeply buried emotions and feelings, then one becomes more intuitive and sensitive to the world of Spirit and its energy.

Observations – Continued

I believe it goes back into the history of the gypsy with the scarf and the large hoop earrings and to the days of fortune tellers foretelling doom and gloom. I also believe it is because the word “psychic” is so feared, and I think we have to change this vision. Even in the fairy tales the seer (as in “Sleeping Beauty”) foretells that the princess will prick her finger with a needle and sleep for 100 years – or words to that effect. In “Snow White” the witch feeds Snow White a poisoned apple. For some reason all those who “see” or have second sight are portrayed as evil in some way. Oh yes, we have TV shows these days such as “Medium” and “Ghost Whisperer,” but even with Ghost Whisperer the intro scene leaves nothing positive as heads come out of the ground etc.

Nearly everything on a metaphysical level is shown in a fear inducing or negative light. There is nothing showing the healing taking place with those who have these gifts or the assistance people get on a positive level from this kind of advice. Until we can de-mystify metaphysical subjects I do believe we will never have people believing in those of us who are genuine and who can prove it. Not only that; but 97% of the population does not realize that their aches and pains come from this or past-life issues. Maitreya has told me that one day people will visit an astrologer like they do their doctor, but before that can happen things have to change. I intend to work hard to bring that change into being. I am already doing it in a way, and will be doing more in the future.
