The School

You have come to the earth plane to attend school. Yes, even though you are adults, the earth plane is a school, and there are classrooms and teachers. Each classroom is a lesson. Instead of mathematics and English, science and sports, the lessons in this school are patience, letting go of fear, understanding, compassion, etc. You are all students learning about life itself and how to play the game, for life is a game and, once you learn how to play that game, life becomes a lot easier to live.

The subjects you learn in this school are the subjects you chose before you were born. Each person has different lessons, so no person’s lessons are the same as another’s. The teachers are the people who come into your life and, by their presence, show you things you may not want to see or things you would like to run away from. If you move away from a teacher because you do not like them or fear them, another teacher will come into your life, for it is not the person who is important, but the lesson. The biggest lesson one can learn is detachment from the material things of life and the issues in one’s life. Whether it is children, parents, friends, or objects, detachment is the key to becoming educated. One cannot learn about life when one is emotionally involved in one’s own or another’s problems. Once one is detached and free of emotion, then and only then, can one become more intuitive and see the answers to issues one could not see before.

Christmas 2 – Continued

Because of our metaphysical awareness, Alan and I can see every lesson we are here to learn and hold no malice against anyone on the path for teaching us that. I was taught emotional detachment a few years ago, and I feel I passed the test. Finally, after 60+ years of holding on to things emotionally (including my family), I was able to detach emotionally from everything. At that time, I think Alan wondered how I could do what I did – the biggest lesson being the detachment from my family. Now he is also learning how to detach emotionally.

Maitreya, my teacher from the world of Spirit, has told me that we cannot return home to Spirit and stay there until we can detach emotionally from the earth plane. There is no emotional attachment in their world. To be honest, I find it hard to envision. We are so used to emotional attachment, but I do believe it is possible to detach and I look forward to one day being able to experience that myself when I return home.

Holiday times are also the worst times of the year to experience emotional issues because most of the issues are family oriented. Brother against brother, or sister, or parent or another person – you can guarantee that the issues come up in many homes around the world at those times. If you are one of those experiencing something like this, then instead of getting upset by it, look at it as a blessing. See it as the Universe’s way of teaching you detachment, of not giving any energy to the situation, and at the same time try not to overreact emotionally yourself. Any emotional reaction is not going to change things. It is not likely that things will change with your situation and a lot of energy will be wasted worrying about it, fretting about it, or getting angry. But it can be used to manifest what you really want in your life. It is as simple as that.

Christmas 2 – Continued

The world is the way it is also because of past-life energy. In his astrological natal chart Alan has Chiron, the wounded healer (representing his deepest wounds), in the 3rd house of communications and brothers and sisters. There are deep wounds there for him both from this life and from past lives. Only when we can learn to let go of the emotions and the hurts inside of us can we move on and find peace in our lives from these kinds of happenings. One of his sisters speaks to him, the other does not – nor does she want to. It is so sad this is happening, but again, welcome to the energy of past lives.

There is a bigger lesson here though, and he has to thank both of his sisters for helping him to learn the lesson this is bringing, for it has to do with emotional detachment. It is teaching him to let go of all emotional attachment to his family – and especially to his sisters. It is something we are all here to learn in this incarnation, to let go of the emotional body and to move on. That does not mean we need to be frigid, cool, or uncompassionate, but just to let go of attachment to people, places and things.

It has been one of the hardest things for me to learn in this lifetime because I did have an attachment to people, places and things. Over the years though, the Universe in its wisdom has taken away that attachment leaving me with love, commitment, understanding, and a feeling of peace within without being emotionally attached. There is a difference between the above and being attached emotionally – a big difference. We cannot go through these experiences unless we have people to help us do this, but often we take it so seriously that we cannot see the purpose behind the actions.

Gambling

Recently my channel was asked about the subject of gambling. The question was, “Did she not feel it is wrong because the money she wins is the money from people losing?” This is an interesting question because there is no right or wrong. Everything is there for a learning experience. There are those who are learning either through their addictions or their loss at a casino. It is their life lesson to do this. Perhaps they were a gambler in a past life and need to let go of an addiction. In this incarnation, they choose to go through the experience of gambling to enable them to let go of it.

There is no “loss” because the money they lose enables them to let go of their problem. As such, it becomes a bonus! My channel has let go of all of her fears and insecurities and thus not only believes in abundance and manifests it, she finds it very easy to win it. This is our bonus to her for her hard work and dedication to our work. There is one more thing also. While she is spending time at the casino, she is able to completely switch-off from her metaphysical work. She has such a high vibration that she finds it very hard to switch-off from communication with us. At the casino, her concentration on the machines enables her to close-down from us and our communications for a short period of earth time, hence giving her respite from us. The higher in vibration one goes, the harder it is to switch-off from us. One literally has one foot in your world and one foot in ours. Everything is perfect and as it should be. There is no right or wrong – just karma and life in action.

Changing Patterns – Continued

We are, in fact, here to change patterns and to move on from the past. It can be seen in the astrological chart as a retrograde. A retrograde is what shows up in a natal or birth chart as a lesson or event which we have not yet learned, and so we have come back for another round of learning. Once the lesson is learned it no longer shows as a retrograde. I have one retrograde planet – Uranus in the 9th house – which shows that in a prior life I came to change the face of religion. Although I did create a new religion in a way, I did not do it the right way. Hopefully (with the help of Maitreya in this life), I have been able to assist people to see a new way of looking at God and at each other.

In the past life I created an organization that was too structured and very much in ego. I needed the help of a Master to be able to do it the right way in this life and so I chose a teacher, Maitreya, to assist me to do it. I know it has been done right in this incarnation, so hopefully I have done what I came here to do and am doing it well.

My first husband’s natal chart had every planet retrograde – lifetime after lifetime of not learning the lessons he chose to learn. I have never asked Maitreya what happens if, after a situation like this, one still does not learn the lessons. Are there retrogrades on retrogrades? I will have to ask him the next time I meditate; I am sure his answer will be interesting. My first husband was given the assistance of a spiritual energy to assist him with his retrogrades. In fact he cried when he sat in the presence of this energy, but it was still not enough to conquer the Self part of him and allow him to change his patterns of the past.
