General Stuff 3

A thank you to all of you who have written and thanked me for sharing my experiences with the Self and other subjects in this blog. In the beginning Maitreya told me all of my writings had to be simple, and they have been created that way. He also told me that I was to write about my own experiences and not to be afraid to share the good and the not-so-good things in my life. When I met Alan, he had been used to keeping things secret. His Scorpio Moon, Saturn, Venus, and Ascendant created this but, once he connected with me and we were together, I started to talk about things he had held so dear to him. At first he did not like it one bit. I was exposing his deepest issues, things he had never told anyone or discussed before.

I remember the first newsletter I wrote about him and sent a copy to him. I honestly think he thought he had married a crazy person who was hell-bent on exposing him to the world. Maitreya told him he could have no secrets any more and, if he tried to, they would be exposed. He seemed to accept that and now, five years later, we talk all the while about our journey and our experiences on my website (www.MargaretMcElroy.com). So many people have been able to identify with our experiences and have written and told us so. I honestly feel at times that I have lived my life for everyone else. Maitreya told me a long time ago that a lot of my experiences were for the purpose of learning from them and then teaching others about them. I am so glad we can do this. None of my own teachers were willing to expose their lives and their own limitations to anyone.

General Stuff 2 – Continued

There are so many books written about when we die, and many of them are a waste of time reading them. I am sorry, but that is the way I feel about it. Each version is what they think it is like, or what they have been told. Thanks to my teachers and to Maitreya, I have been able to actually see what it is truly like from the moment we die until we have passed through the reception areas. Believe me, it is nothing to be frightened of at all. Yet, we have such a fear of death and dying!

For instance, it is not a place where we are punished, told we are sinners, or where we have to pay for anything we have done wrong. The Ultimate Being, or God, is such a loving, compassionate energy. Yes, it is sad when you have come home perhaps without learning anything, but that energy does not chastise you. In fact, the love it embraces you with is so complete, so beautiful, that one cannot believe any energy could give you so much love. It is you who are disappointed in yourself for not learning or changing – no one else.

Thousands of souls return each day, not learning anything at all, and none of them is made to suffer in any way. Only love is given and, believe me, in that Presence one feels as if one is home. Usually though, there is a soul memory of religion, belief systems, conditioning etc., and it is this that has to be removed before one can move forward into true Spirit and past the reception areas. One sees the imperfections one has when one has to look at one’s life. This is done at the very beginning of the process after one has had a rest from passing over. Some people have a traumatic passing, and something like that really makes an impact on the soul memory. It takes time in the next world to release and remove this energy, but one cannot move on until it has been removed.

Gambling

Recently my channel was asked about the subject of gambling. The question was, “Did she not feel it is wrong because the money she wins is the money from people losing?” This is an interesting question because there is no right or wrong. Everything is there for a learning experience. There are those who are learning either through their addictions or their loss at a casino. It is their life lesson to do this. Perhaps they were a gambler in a past life and need to let go of an addiction. In this incarnation, they choose to go through the experience of gambling to enable them to let go of it.

There is no “loss” because the money they lose enables them to let go of their problem. As such, it becomes a bonus! My channel has let go of all of her fears and insecurities and thus not only believes in abundance and manifests it, she finds it very easy to win it. This is our bonus to her for her hard work and dedication to our work. There is one more thing also. While she is spending time at the casino, she is able to completely switch-off from her metaphysical work. She has such a high vibration that she finds it very hard to switch-off from communication with us. At the casino, her concentration on the machines enables her to close-down from us and our communications for a short period of earth time, hence giving her respite from us. The higher in vibration one goes, the harder it is to switch-off from us. One literally has one foot in your world and one foot in ours. Everything is perfect and as it should be. There is no right or wrong – just karma and life in action.

Selfishness

So much debate and energy is given to the word “selfish” or “selfishness.” I was recently asked to write about this in my blog. We are told that, if we are selfish, we are wrong and very much in the Self. Yet selfishness is a subject we really need to explore in detail. I am prompted by one of my own family members who, for many years, I felt was very selfish, indeed. He never took into account anyone else. It was always me, me, and more me! When this began I had great difficulty in coming to terms with it and even more so in that the person was a family member, a male. I struggled for years knowing that he was – as I considered – selfish, and this really disturbed me.

When Maitreya came into my life, he told me that this person was exactly where he needed to be – in his selfishness. In past lives he had lived many nomadic, spiritual lives, taking care of others, talking to people on a higher level (channeling in a way), and living a secular life of poverty and chastity. He had done his work in helping others and now was in the throes of learning about taking, not giving. In this life he had to learn to do things for himself, to learn about earning money instead of having a begging bowl and asking for alms. He had to learn how to earn and pay for food. He had to learn how to have sex with a partner for, in a past life, he had been chaste and never experienced sexual energy. There were so many things he needed to learn about the earth plane. We would say it is selfishness, but to the person concerned, it is learning about life away from the monastery or the nomadic way of life he had experienced prior to his existence in this life.

This whole conversation with my teacher completely changed not only my thinking, but my entire life! Never again did I see this family member as selfish, and I came to understand why he is selfish. It put a whole new slant on life for me. We should be spending time on ourselves and enjoying our own lives. We spend so much time trying to help other people with their lives that we cannot see what we have come to learn in our own life. Once we do see what our own lessons are – and not the lessons of others – then we can move forward with our own lives and our life path.

Everyone Has a Heart

Everyone has a heart; they just have to learn how to use it. The heart is the most important part of humanity. It is where love is created, stored and used.

When the heart is full of anger, resentment, fear, doubt, and insecurity, it is closed. It cannot radiate the love from the Universe – the love from God, or the Ultimate Being. When the heart is closed, not only can it not radiate love, it cannot feel love. It is as if a barrier is there stopping the love from entering. Many spiritual people profess to a have an open heart chakra, yet they are usually the ones that have them closed. They speak ill of others, preach negative words, and have fear in their hearts. Note that I said many, not all! There are many spiritual souls with beautiful hearts and minds; their principal concern is love and nothing else – to serve humanity in love.

If the earth plane is to change, it cannot change with people preaching. It has to come from learning how to use the heart, the very source of the soul and of the love from God, or the Ultimate Being. Each soul is entitled to this love. It is available for all, but only a few can experience it. When they do learn, they will experience a bliss and peace beyond understanding.
