Our talent is not necessarily in the craft area or the metaphysical area. Alan my husband’s talent is in music, however he struggles with his first house Saturn in believing he is good enough to learn and that he can. His excuse is that he cannot keep time yet, when he wants to, he can. For other people it can be carpentry; cooking or dancing or other subjects. However many of those people can turn their passion into a full or part time career if they stopped making excuses.

For one person who wanted to work her metaphysical talent, I suggested her holding meditation/teaching classes over a five or ten week course. She had beautiful energy to bring in Spirit and I knew she could do this easily. Her first excuse was that she did not have a place to do it as she could not do it from her home. I suggested she approach the local library or community center and rent a room for the class each week; these places are usually inexpensive and her class fee could incorporate this fee. I also suggested she make a flier and put it in all the health food stores and metaphysical stores if there were any. I could see this did not go over well with her; she wanted Spirit to provide a lavish room and also provide the students. I told her that was the way I started off. In fact, I actually worked from home in the beginning. I made my own business cards. They were a pale green color with gold around the edges and had on them my name and phone number and the words “Clairvoyant Reader.” I had just learned how to do calligraphy and wrote the words in that script. I also stood on street corners and gave leaflets out to passing pedestrians. I actually got a lot of work that way. I wanted to do my passion and did not care what I had to do to create that.
