Just Stuff 2 – Continued
Those who do not charge a fee for their services often believe they will get rewards once they pass over. However, Maitreya has said that this is not the case. In fact, one can cause karma for another if there is not an exchange of energy. It is why the gypsy fortune tellers would ask for their palm to be crossed with silver. For every action there has to be a reaction. If for instance I give you a healing and do not charge for it, there is no exchange of energy, and because I do not charge, I then create a situation for you where you have not paid for the service. So then you owe me and, although I may not come back in another life, you owe for that service and will need to come back yourself to pay for it in some way, even if you do not karmically have to come back.
Maitreya was very strong about this in his teaching to me. He said that many people do not have to come back, but do so because they owe for something out of their control. I cannot think of anything worse than having to come back even though one did not need to because one had a healing/service which one did not pay for. I make a point of always exchanging energy for anything I receive. Sometimes it is just a cake or muffins, but I do make sure the person gets something in exchange. I often send flowers. This is also a way of repayment. I can think of nothing worse than passing to the other side and knowing one brought a soul back for another round of incarnation because one chose not to ask for payment or did not take payment because one could not put a worth on oneself or did not consider oneself worthy.

Just Stuff 2
I am sure there will be thousands of “Just Stuff” blogs after this one, but I don’t know what else to call the small blogs I feel I need to write about small things. My first issue of “Stuff” again, is about those of us who work in the metaphysical field. I have been very lucky in that, since I began my metaphysical work I have not wanted for money. It has been tight many times financially, but I had faith and all that I needed for the next part of my journey was always there even if at times, I did not believe it myself.
I have had some terrible fear about money over my years of working with those in the world of spirit; however, I have not had to borrow money. All I have earned apart from living expenses has gone into what I do on a metaphysical level. I have also loaned money and not had it returned. It is interesting though that, before I opened the door and went through it into doing my metaphysical work, I was so hard up financially. I do not know how I got through. Maitreya, my teacher, says “A laborer is worthy of his/her hire,” and I do not disagree with that. However, when one visits a professional in the medical or technical field one expects to pay a fee. Yet for some reason one who works in the metaphysical field is frowned upon for charging a fee for their services.
I happen to be very good at what I do with my talent in forecasting the future, the past, and in teaching and writing. I have studied the area of metaphysics for years. No, I have not had any classes because my teachers were incredible individuals who became friends. No I did not pay a fortune for classes or for courses. However, I was very professional and, even in the beginning, very good.

Energy
Much has been written about the payment of money for spiritual favors. There have been many who think that because it is of God, then it must be given free, that those who charge a fee for their service are “greedy and not spiritual.”
You have a saying on your earth plane, “God helps those who help themselves.” If you provide a service, and you share your energy, then if that energy is given away it is worth nothing. A laborer is worthy of his hire. Many experienced spiritual teachers have studied for many years, sacrificed much, and worked often without an income to learn their profession. What do they use for energy if they do not charge a fee? How do they pay their airfares to attend workshops and teachings, their hotel accommodation and expenses? How do they pay for their home, the food on the table and the clothes they wear? How do they provide for their families?
Perhaps you could liken material energy – whether it be money or material items – to a house with electricity. When the energy is flowing around the house, then the house is lit up and the energy is flowing. When the energy is switched off it is stagnant – waiting to start up again – and the house is in darkness. When you stop the flow of energy because you worry, have doubt, fear or any other negative emotion, then you switch off the power in the house. When you allow the energy to flow, then it stays constant.
There is always a reason why people want more, why they hang on so tightly to their possessions and material things. What is your reason? What is your fear? Is it from a past life or from this life? Find the reason and you will find the answer to abundance without end, a constant flow without end.
You hoard your material possessions, you fear change, you hang on to people, and you hang on to your energy not realizing that you stop the flow. Let the energy flow, be not afraid, and allow abundance into your life.
