2011 – Continued

I remember feeling a number of definite fears at the time I made the change in 1992: fear of not being liked where I was going on the new path, fear of failure, fear of losing what I had (surprisingly I had nothing at the time), fear of rejection, fear of not succeeding, fear, fear, fear! The Higher Self, as I stated previously, looked upon the whole experience as an adventure, new energy, a chance to see something new, to open new doors, but the Self began to win – hands down. Thankfully, my then-husband had decided to pursue me for virtually everything I owned. He had a garage sale of all of my personal possessions and took almost every cent out of our bank account, leaving me with $5 for a whole load of new stock I had just bought for my shop. He took the stock out of the shop at 5:00am one morning, leaving me an empty shop and an empty crystal cabinet. Had he been able to take that I honestly know he would have done it, but it was too heavy. My ex-husband was a part of the plan of the Universe to move me on. All I could see at the time was the pain and hurt he was causing me. I was angry and I could not see the eventual bigger picture that would enable me to not only improve my salary, but give me fame and recognition in New Zealand. This is what the Self does to us: it crushes our spirit, stops us from making change, and creates confusion in our life – which we allow.

Three years ago, I wrote to one of my students, informing her that Maitreya had told her she needed to think about leaving her job and move into metaphysics full time. She did not write back to me for almost a week and then it was to talk about fear. How would she manage financially? I told her that she needed to begin thinking about change. She was terribly unhappy in her job since she had found metaphysics, but she would not face that fact.

General Stuff 3 – Final Words

It never ceases to amaze me how many people write to me with questions that can be answered from my books. I have written a number of books with a great deal of information in them, most of which is not in other metaphysical books. I recently recorded an audio book version of The Photon Energy book. This enables you to listen to the book in your car while driving or to download into your i-pod and to listen to it and not have to read the book. In a few weeks time, all of the books will be on audio CD. The writings of Maitreya (www.maitreya-edu.org) hold a wealth of information on many hundreds of subjects written by him since 1997. One does not have to be without knowledge. Many of these writings are also available on an audio CD recorded by Alan and, may I say, recorded superbly by him. The feedback on these audio readings has been phenomenal.

There is no need (as I stated) to be without information on any metaphysical subject. Maitreya has written just about everything on every subject. Put it into the search engines in his website and it will come up. If you do not find what you need, write and ask him to write about it. He may not do that for some time, but he will eventually get around to it. When I began my development, I honestly thought that it was going to be so easy. I thought that I was going to be taken care of financially, that I would be in heaven most of the time, and that it would not take long. I was completely wrong. Spiritual development is about facing our fears, about being true to who we are on the level of our Higher Self and not in what the Self tells us or wants us to be. It is discipline – obedience in a way – to Spirit and not being afraid to face your dark side. It is also about keeping no secrets. The more you try to; the more they will be exposed!

A Long Way – Continued

So what does the future hold? Will the metaphysical movement close down also? The answer to that is a firm, “NO!” It will become stronger, and more people will be interested in it. But it is going to change and no longer be the “angels with wings and spiritual beings in halos and white robes” which it has been until now. It is a subject designed to help you to move on from past energy, insecurities, doubts, fears, and low confidence/self esteem.

Every day I see people who come to me for readings who would not normally come to me. They want to know their life lessons, what they have come to do again, what their destiny is, and how they can fulfill that destiny. Some balk at what I give them because I ask them to face their fears by telling them what I do. Others in the energy of Maitreya finally “get it” and can finally see what they need to see to enable them to move on into their destiny.

I do believe that a lot more people are interested or will become interested in astrology in the future, and that we will see more people teaching metaphysical classes as we move forward after 2012. I have said so many times, “One does not have to sit in a Buddhist pose and hum ‘Om.’ Neither does one need to give up anything in their life such as their glass of wine or other habits if they have any. Eventually they will, like me, no longer need them. I do like a glass of wine, and often people show shock/horror that I do like to have a glass of wine, but I am not an alcoholic and I do enjoy the occasional tipple – especially after a heavy day of working. However I no longer drink alcohol to drown out any so-called sorrows or problems. I like it, but I can say “No” these days after one glass.

Beauty – Continued

My channel, Margaret, often despaired because she carried extra weight. She was once very thin, but as she matured she gained weight. I have informed her that she could not take the energy of the spiritual world if she did not have some measure of protection. Thankfully, since raising her vibration she has let go of the need to be “beautiful” externally and has become beautiful internally.

The more you open to love and the divine energy, and the more you deal with your blocks and fears, the more you can become a beautiful channel for the divine light – that golden, beautiful light of God, or the Divine Soul. Beauty then shines from within. The external part of you is not seen because of the beautiful vision from within. All those who come into your energy see that beauty and cease to look at the external. They do not see your crooked nose, your body with extra weight, your blemishes, and what you consider as flaws. All they see is the beauty of the Divine Soul, or God. The desire for beauty is the desire of the Self. Once you surpass that desire, once the Higher Self is attained through dealing with your own limitations – blocks, fears, desires, doubts, insecurities – then you can shine from within and all that shines is beauty, a golden light which then becomes radiant.

Beauty is not without. Only the Self sees that and complains. Beauty is within and, when it is allowed to shine and come forth, then it can become a beautiful energy to see and to mirror for everyone else.

How We Communicate With You

I am often asked how communication can occur between the spiritual world and the soul. This is surprisingly not hard to do. For the majority of your life you have listened to the Self, which is the mind and is constantly on alert. It is your protector and never stops working to look after you. It does not like change. If change occurs it will bring up all of your fears, doubts, insecurities – all of the negative emotions to stop you from making change. Your Self knows you better than you know yourself.

You also have a Higher Self. This part of you is connected to the spiritual part of you. It is like a telephone line between you and us in the spiritual realms. However, imagine the telephone line having a huge boulder on it, stopping communication. This is what it is like when the Self is the controlling force. In order for us to communicate with you, we first of all need the Self to be occupied. It may surprise many that my channel Margaret does not meditate; she never has. There has always been a communication line open (despite her Self) between her and me. In the last few earth years we have become one as she has freed herself of the Self’s control.

In the early days of her development, we communicated with her when the Self was occupied. This was when she was doing her household chores. When she was ironing, cooking, or cleaning, the Self was occupied in mundane tasks, very unaware of our presence. At this time we could then communicate with her through the Higher Self. She was born with the knowledge that she had to ask us to communicate with her, and this is very important to know. We need to know that you wish to communicate with us. When the Self – the mind – is occupied, then we can communicate on another level. We can send inspiration to you, give you information to help you on your life path, and send wonderful healing energy to you.
