Our Life Purpose

It never ceases to amaze me how many people come to see me who are in the wrong profession, and yet who do not know their true destiny. What is even worse is the fact that, when I do tell them their true destiny, many people are frightened of it. Yet this is what happens in many cases when clients come for a reading. We choose our destiny before we are born. For many of us it is a repeat of a past life where we did not complete that life or (like I did) “stuffed it up” big time. I have always balked at telling people who I really was in a past life because, in the early days when I did write about it, I received quite a bit of hate mail informing me that the person whom I had written about as “not a nice person” really was, These people revered her, had put her on a pedestal, and how dare I talk that way about her!

During my life as that woman, I had so much fear and lack of ego. I should have done what I am doing in this life and basically died of a broken heart after being taken to court as a fraud by many people. People she worked with and assisted in good faith turned against her, and in a way her life – despite her becoming known in metaphysical circles – was a very lonely life. I am sure some of you reading this blog will recognize who this woman was, but I will not tell you. It has been and gone, and I have moved out of that energy. But the journey in doing so was quite an ordeal and very hard to do. I had no idea I had been this person until I moved in with my ex-husband before we married. He had quite a lot of metaphysical books, and one of the books was about this person. I felt compelled to read it and, as I did, I “knew” I had been her in a past life. My life now was mirroring exactly the way it had been in that life and it was quite scary to see.

A Long Way – Continued

So what does the future hold? Will the metaphysical movement close down also? The answer to that is a firm, “NO!” It will become stronger, and more people will be interested in it. But it is going to change and no longer be the “angels with wings and spiritual beings in halos and white robes” which it has been until now. It is a subject designed to help you to move on from past energy, insecurities, doubts, fears, and low confidence/self esteem.

Every day I see people who come to me for readings who would not normally come to me. They want to know their life lessons, what they have come to do again, what their destiny is, and how they can fulfill that destiny. Some balk at what I give them because I ask them to face their fears by telling them what I do. Others in the energy of Maitreya finally “get it” and can finally see what they need to see to enable them to move on into their destiny.

I do believe that a lot more people are interested or will become interested in astrology in the future, and that we will see more people teaching metaphysical classes as we move forward after 2012. I have said so many times, “One does not have to sit in a Buddhist pose and hum ‘Om.’ Neither does one need to give up anything in their life such as their glass of wine or other habits if they have any. Eventually they will, like me, no longer need them. I do like a glass of wine, and often people show shock/horror that I do like to have a glass of wine, but I am not an alcoholic and I do enjoy the occasional tipple – especially after a heavy day of working. However I no longer drink alcohol to drown out any so-called sorrows or problems. I like it, but I can say “No” these days after one glass.

Changes – Final Words

As an astrologer, I know why things happen. I can always see it in the chart, and especially if a person is destined to lose their home or to move around a lot. I just wish others could understand it. When I finally did see why, it was the most amazing “Aha” moment I have ever had. I chose to have the Cancer Mid-heaven (or MC as many call it) so that it would cure me of my need to settle down, to put down roots and not move again. It is my destiny to be loose and fancy free –to not have a permanent home – and it was the one thing my Self yearned for, making every home I had into a virtual castle! Some people are meant to be in one place all of their lives and they never move. It is what they have come to do, but for others like me, it is not meant to be. We have a bigger picture, a bigger job to do, and we cannot be stuck in one place. We need to be free to do it.

I have a number of Cancer friends and they do not adapt to change very well at all. I am hoping, though, that now I have well and truly learned the lesson of hanging on. When someone was talking to me about New York, I found myself actually looking forward to the experience of moving, whether temporary for a few weeks or more permanently for a few months. I do know, but I do not know why I will not be living there permanently. I actually lived there in a past life and deep inside of me have a fond memory of a brownstone building with steps leading up to it. I am ready whenever the Universe creates that opportunity and, unlike the past, will move with no hesitation. I think I will anyway. We will have to wait and see what does happen and how it is received. LOL!

Independence – Continued

 

The use of intuition is not encouraged today, and yet it can be the biggest help to souls in finding their path and their talent. There are no spiritual people in the education system to help the souls tune into their Akashic record and to find their purpose in life. Years ago the shaman – the wise man or woman of the village – or the priest or priestess did this.

Spirituality is not about forcing one to believe in God, nor in being holy or religious. It is about being one with the Divine Soul and allowing those who do have the gift of the spiritual realms – seers, diviners, spiritual clairvoyants, etc. – to guide one to one’s destiny, to show the way to one’s talent and one’s future. Oh, if only this were so, there would be no souls living off of the government.

As long as the government provides a living for people, those souls will take what is provided. When a government forces one to use one’s own talent by not providing assistance, then that soul can achieve their destiny. Find your talent, and you will find your destiny. When you find your destiny, you will find happiness and you will, if you allow yourself to move toward that destiny, to start a new life for yourself.

You will no longer then be dependent on another for your income.

Children

Your children are only in your care. They choose you as their parent for the lessons you will help them to learn. You are often the catalyst for their experiences. Many children are young adults even while very young. People comment on them as ‘old souls’ or of ‘having been here before’. At an early age (depending on the child) they should be encouraged to do everything for themselves. So many parents try to do it for the child, perhaps because of their own childhood being so hard and they want to help their child avoid the life they had. However, when one helps a child to do something they can do for themselves, one stops that child’s growth. Each soul comes into an incarnation with the skills to learn all they need for their growth. Often the parents think that, because they are children, they need parental guidance. Yes, they do. But children need to learn from their own experiences, not from those of the parents. Children are far more resilient than adults. They can cope with the most difficult of circumstances because they have nothing else to judge them against. To them, difficult circumstances are normal. Only the adults say, “You can’t do that,” and by doing so they stop the child from learning the lesson of the action.

I was once asked when a child should start to make their own decisions and I told this soul, “Five years of age is when a child should start making their own decisions.” By doing this, they can select their own life, not that which their parents choose. So many children are pushed into doing things they do not want to do because “mother or father wanted me to do that.” Each child is programmed astrologically to find their own lessons and to fulfill their own destiny. Adults stop that from happening. If a child is allowed to go with the flow, they will be led and guided to where they have to go; the right circumstances will come to them to enable them to fulfill their destiny. If you, as an adult, stop that from happening, you will stop the growth of your child.

Let your child go and see the evolution of that soul. This does not mean that there should not be discipline or rules in the home. These are very important, but each child should be allowed to choose their own destiny and how they fulfill it.
