Free Choice

Humanity has created much strife and conflict in the world because they cannot accept the belief of another and because they insist that their view is right. This is very prevalent with the subject of eating meat of any kind. The need for eating meat came when humanity began their lives on the earth plane. It was part of the human make-up to eat it and, since that time, it has been a staple in people’s lives. There are those who have chosen not to eat meat and for those people their choice is their own. Yet they often feel the need to put their views onto others, and many get very upset at those who do eat meat. The world cannot become a better place unless humanity can learn to understand each other’s views and opinions.

It is not only with the eating of meat, but also with everything on the earth plane. Just because a person chooses to do what they do (which may go against another), does not mean they, themselves, are wrong. Many people believe that, because I write about this subject, I support the eating of meat. This is not true. We, in Spirit, do not partake of food at all unless we wish to create it, which not many do. We do, however, know that, unless one can have choice (and those who do not like that choice learn to understand this), the earth plane will stay the way it is, in strife, war, conflict, etc.

Each soul has their own thoughts, ideas and choices. If they choose to be different from the next person or to those around them, this is their choice and they should not be criticized or punished for doing so. The world is a large place. There is room on this planet for all beliefs and choices. Learn to tolerate those who are different. Do not try to imprint your views upon them; they will only fight you anyway. Do not waste energy on this, and allow each soul to be different. Once humanity in general can do this, then the earth plane will become a much better world.

Christmas 2

I stopped celebrating the Christian Christmas many years ago, but I do celebrate the holiday and look upon Christmas as a time to remember Christmas of times past – a time of memory. It is even more poignant for me this year because, after 25 or more years, I have found my brother – or should I say – he found me on Facebook. Not only did he find me on Facebook, but he also discovered Skype. We lost contact with each other all those years ago and have just reunited, spending long hours on Skype talking to each other. He is in Katoomba, New South Wales, Australia, and I am in Seattle, Washington, USA. The last two weeks have been spent with both of us saying, “Remember when?” and laughing at times ‘till we cried! More than anything, my brother has discovered Skype and he is amazed at how he can communicate using it. I told him about being able to see my grandchildren open their presents in Australia on Christmas Day and it only being Christmas Eve here in the USA.

For me it is a happy Christmas because I’m able to communicate with my brother, but for Alan it is a sad time as his family has split apart into two factions, and it means that this Christmas the gathering will be missing members of his family. His marital break-up six years ago caused the rift and, unfortunately, sides were taken – which has turned quite ugly. I know this is not an isolated incident and many thousands (if not millions) of families around the world will be spending the holidays the same way. One can ask, “But why does this happen?” Well, it is happening because people have free will and choice, and because we – as humanity – have not yet learned to let go of emotional detachment. We also judge others instead of accepting their choices and we hold anger inside of us for those who have created the issues such as those mentioned.

Holidays – Continued

We were born with free will and the choice of doing things. Many of us have no idea what we are here to do – never mind where we should spend our birthdays. I did choose not to go to India for my birthday in 2007 because I was dealing with a lot of stress at the time and was very tired and exhausted. I felt that, had I gone to India, it would have made me worse. However, Alan and I have plans for a visit there further down the path of our work. We know we will go, but for now it is not important to our work at this time.

I once had a friend who went to Mexico from California just because it moved one planet in her chart from one house to another and thus avoided a lot of friction with her partner during the following year. For the last 5 years I have had Neptune in the 2nd house in my chart. The 2nd house involves money matters and assets, and Neptune is about illusion. When Neptune is in the 2nd house of a solar return chart, one usually does not know how much income one will earn during that year. There can be an illusion over what thinks they will earn and what they actually do earn. For me it meant that I did not know how much I would be earning. Year after year it was the same. I was working but did not know how much I would earn. I am lucky to have money saved and, as such, I did not need money to survive. However, after 5 years with Neptune there and the situation being that way, I desire change. Next year Jupiter is placed in my 2nd house, and as I have positive aspects there, financially things are destined to change in a positive way – all because I chose a different location for my birthday.

Destiny – Continued

Although we went on to work together for another four years, we eventually separated, and husband number 3 (Alan) came in. By now I was becoming concerned at my fulfilling my destiny. I had found out from Maitreya that the mishaps in the USA and New Zealand were meant to happen. First of all, it was part of the ego destruction I needed to help me go where I had to go, and second, it was to force me to face my fear. And boy did I have some fear over the whole episode!

For some reason I trusted Alan. His purpose from day one was to help me as much as he could, and he has helped me tremendously. I had been told about him coming into my life by an intuitive friend in 2003, and he came into my life in 2004. His dedication to Maitreya surpassed anything I had ever seen and his support of me even more. He also told me in New Zealand that he is the last man in my life. That made me even more positive about the future and fulfilling my destiny.

What would have happened if Alan had not come in or run away in the first few years? Someone else would have come in, or I may never have been able to fulfill my destiny. If not, it would have meant that I would come back for another round of existence.

That source we know as God created within us the gift of free-will – choice – and did not realize how much of a problem it would be in the fulfillment of our destiny. Our destiny is the fate we have chosen for ourselves before we are born – our life plan – and this can be seen in the birth chart an astrologer creates which will assist you to see where your life lessons are and also where your hardest lessons and transformation are going to be. Without this information, even people who do not need a partner to fulfill their destiny often cannot fulfill it.
