Ramblings

The one thing I have difficulty with is choosing a title for my blogs. Because of my schedule, I cannot write a blog every day so I tend to write a blog for 7 days or more. That way it is done for a while and I can let go of thinking about it. This next set of blogs is entitled “Ramblings” because that is what I feel it is.

I was asked the other day if I channeled the blogs and I do feel that I do. My hands fly over the keys and often I am awakened in the middle of the night with a feeling that I have to get up, write a blog, and go back to bed. Whatever I do, I do know that I have many followers of my blog because you have written and let me know that you like it. One woman wrote and said she could not wait for every day’s blog, and asked if I could publish a longer one.

As I write, Haiti is in the news and I think I will start off with a little bit about that. I have already recorded a video blog about the subject. However, I cannot comment on Haiti in the video blog like I would like to. Even before the earthquake, Haiti was in trouble. It had a lot of poverty, old beliefs (voodoo), and had been like this for a long time. I believe that the earthquake has cleared away a lot of old energy and, out of the ashes – so to speak – of the old energy will emerge a new energy and a new city. I truly believe this. Don’t ask me how; I just believe that now the old energy is removed, the new energy can come through. That is the role of nature. I also know where the souls on Haiti who died have gone. They have gone to a better place. Who would want them to come back? Our belief system is such that we do not know about the “other side” and how our souls transition.

Judgment and Criticism Final words…..

I can hear a lot of you asking, “How can I get to this level? What do I have to do to have what Margaret has?” Well, one needs first of all to fight any fear one may have because the Self, the instigator of the judgment and criticism, loves fear. It uses it as a lever to stop you from moving forward. You also need to listen to the words you say. Do you criticize or judge people? If the answer is “Yes,” do not beat yourself up about this. Instead of looking for the bad in a person, make a determined effort to look for the good. You have been practicing the art of being judgmental and critical for many incarnations. It takes a lot of effort to change that energy.

Say an affirmation such as, “I will be aware of when I criticize or judge and stop doing this in the future. We are all perfect in the eyes of God.” Stop being angry with yourself over any failure to do this. As I said, it takes time to do this. However, the more you can do this the more you will notice the quiet inside of you. None of us is perfect and we cannot be so because the Self will not allow us to be. I have always said, “How boring to be perfect anyway!” Give your Self a little of what it likes every now and again – if you can once a week. A satisfied Self is a happy Self. (perhaps your Self likes chocolate and you no longer eat it because of health reasons of putting on weight. Give yourself a small, mini-sized bar of chocolate). It was the first thing I found that, if I satisfied my Self every now and again, it was a very happy energy! If I got to the level I am at, you can too. I have very little willpower and a very strong Self, but if I can do it, you can too. Why not try it?

Technology

Message from Maitreya:

I am often asked, “Maitreya, what do you feel about technology”?

Many people do not believe in technology. They say it is not spiritual, and yet it is the way that humanity is moving. So many souls are in fear of computers. In the presence of my channel, I often hear people say they hate computers or do not believe in them. It is only fear which creates this. In only twenty earth years, the world has changed so much with technology. It will continue to change and grow. It is growing so fast, that humanity will soon not be able to cope.

A few short years ago I was talking to my channel about video teaching, and she said, “But Maitreya, it is not possible to do that at present,” and I said to her, “It is in the process now.” Then, just before holiday time, she saw a film on television of TV being delivered over the internet. Now it is commonplace, and she even does it herself. If technology can do that, what else can it do? It is only limited by those who limit it. Humanity cannot think that the internet will be a passing phase. It is the future of the world and because of it, especially in many government areas, humans will soon not be needed.

Do not be afraid of technology. There is always someone to explain it to you if you do not understand it. Never fear technology. In the next twenty earth years you will see the most amazing technology, some of which will totally amaze you. The day will come when each home will be built with a home computer station linked up to the household appliances. Oh, yes, it is here to stay. Embrace it, do not fear it, and use it. Governments are afraid of it because they cannot control the masses with it like they have done in the past. Change is good. Embrace the change and open the door to the future.

Judgment and Criticism – Continued

The interesting thing is the fact that there was a time I could not bear to be alone! I had to be surrounded by people and things. I had to be busy all day long; I could not sit still and be quiet like I do now. The chatter from my Self was constant. I actually have spaces now in my brain. Nobody talks internally to me anymore and it is so quiet inside of me! It is as if I am in my own little bubble, and the only time I find myself having problems – especially with criticism and judgment – is when I am with other people. As an empath, I take on everyone’s emotions and feelings, including their judgment and critical views. I love the quiet, and strive to have it more and more.

I am lucky in that I have a beautiful home that Maitreya found for me with a creek within viewing distance of the kitchen window. Birds come to feed at the feeders all day, my family (my cat) sits with me all day absorbing the energy of my Master, and he loves it. The area I live in is so quiet despite there being a main road just across the street. With the silence of the house and the silence in my own head, I am indeed in absolute bliss. It is getting to the point where I no longer wish to speak to anyone. I shop on-line so that I do not have to visit shops and usually go to the supermarket at 9 pm in the evening on the way home from the radio show because it is quiet then and there are hardly any people in the store. I would never in a million years have thought I would be like this, but I am and I love it. I am not tempted by other people’s feelings, ideas or thoughts then.
