Unconditional Love

Message from Maitreya:

What is love? I have written about this before on this website, but it was of one person’s love for another. But what of a person who loves you, and even more so, if you do not feel any connection to that soul? This happens every earth day to many, many souls.

One thinks that, because one has no recollection or feeling or emotion, that there is nothing there to deal with. However, one thing must be understood. All souls have returned to deal with past-life energy. However, for some souls on the receiving end of this attention, they have worked this energy out before they came into their lives – perhaps in other incarnations or prior to meeting the soul they have feelings for. The person of course, has the most amazing feelings for the one they are communicating with, in some cases falling head over heels for them, acting silly and doing silly things, and not knowing why they do it as well. The other person cannot feel anything, and has no feeling or recollection of anything. It can be very frustrating for the soul involved.

Usually the lesson is to just be in the energy and then move on, perhaps to repay a karmic debt or to help a soul. But it is all past life related. The one doing the pursuing is positive in feeling that something is there – they have SUCH feelings – yet there is no response from the other person. Often, the lesson is for the one making the overtures to learn to love unconditionally and to detach from the situation. If the other person responded, they may not learn that lesson. This is why they chose their part in the equation BEFORE the connection took place.

It is all about the lesson, not the person. One cannot love unconditionally if one is holding onto intense emotion from a previous encounter, for that is need. True love is gentle, does not demand, does not want revenge, is not angry, can walk away without pain – and most of all – is totally unconditional. Through the soul they are interacting with having no feelings whatsoever, the lesson often can be learned a lot quicker and easier. If not, the energy would just continue to repeat itself with no progress made. Such is past-life energy; such is the Self who tries so hard to pull you back into that old energy. It IS energy, nothing more. Once one soul has dealt with it, it is no more; it is gone.

Do not despair because the one you love does not respond the same as you. Just know that soul is giving you an opportunity to remove the energy from your soul so that you may move on also. Do not allow the Self to pull you back with emotion and fear. Detach and see the purpose of the experience.

Past-Life Energy

Message from Maitreya:

Many readers of my website have written to me regarding physical symptoms coming to the surface and becoming a problem in their physical body. The Photon Energy is assisting many souls who wish to raise their vibration to a higher level to enable this to happen. Once this happens and the soul is on a higher vibratory level, then this high vibration begins to release old, past-life energy trapped within the soul memory. For instance, if a person had been involved in a fire in a past life, this would manifest as skin problems, or if a soul had not released negative thoughts about oneself or about another, this could also manifest as skin problems.

The hands of my channel’s husband, Alan, were ruined by a gunshot in a past life. He was not aware of this until he began raising his vibration and felt a deep need to play the piano. He had been shot while playing the piano and, as he raised his vibration, the pain from that event became very strong, so much so that he could not play the piano. It also came up when he was in the presence of the person who – in that life – shot him. This person came into his life to forgive him for what he had done in creating the situation in the previous life, but once back in the situation again, he could not do so. The pain from the past life was excruciating to Alan. It took a number of years for the energy to come to the surface, and although it has gone again, every now and again it comes back to the surface, as more and more of the energy is released. Eventually, there will be no reaction as there will be no more energy or pain.

One cannot experience the pain from past-life energy until one has raised one’s vibration. However, once this is done the energy coming forward can be swift and often very painful. Visiting the doctor will usually elicit no answers, nor will X-Rays reveal an answer to the problem because it is in the soul memory. I have asked before and I will ask again, “Why does a person who has no leg, still feel pain in that leg?” Because they still have their “spirit” leg, and it is in that leg – despite being invisible – that the pain is situated, even though there is no leg there physically.

One cannot avoid the energy coming to the surface either. It naturally comes out; however, it is better out than inside festering away. Think of that if this happens to you. It may be painful, but at least it is coming out. Past life recall/therapy can assist here, as can color therapy, flower essences and affirmations, but do remember that the energy must come out. Unless one repeats the past life issue, once out it will never be there again. As the earth plane moves forward due to the Photon Energy, one needs to know what can and will happen as you raise your vibration. Do not despair over this, it is a natural happening. Just as you grow as a child (and one can feel the pains of growing), so one can also experience the pain of releasing. Let it go and be free.

Christmas

When I was a child growing up Christmas was a very special time. I lived the first 28 years of my life in the UK, so we always had a cold Christmas and many times had snow on Christmas day. We would wrap up, and my mother would keep all the old, darned socks and we would wear two to three pairs at a time on our hands as if they were gloves.

We always had food on the table all through the year, but Christmas was a time when we had chocolate and exotic fruit such as figs, dates, and – of all things – pomegranates. We also had oranges and apples. The apples, which my father grew earlier in the year and wrapped in newspaper or waxed paper, were then stored under the bed until Christmas time. The only time we had chocolate was at Christmas, Easter and birthdays. Oh, the joy of Christmas morning with all of the selection boxes (boxes of different types of chocolates) which our aunts and uncles had bought for us. By the time Christmas dinner came around, we were very full indeed and, of course, could not eat dinner. Nowadays, quite a lot of children have access to chocolate or candy most of the time or at least once a week, fruit is a part of their diet, and large department stores have toys all year round, which in my childhood were only sold at Christmas time. Such a difference today. Even pets get presents of special treats and goodies!

Again as a child, toys were for Christmas only. A paint box and crayons lasted us all year. If we were going to school, we got school supplies, and if going to high school, a pen and pencil set in a gift box was always a staple in the stocking or pillowcase each year.

We always had a pillow case at the end of the bed when we woke up – usually at about 4:30 AM much to our parents’ dismay. Opening up the presents still remains as a fond memory in my mind. Although we were told not to eat our goodies until after dinner we did! When dinner came around, we were so full of goodies that sometimes we were sick afterward. Then, of course, people visited – ones usually who one never saw all year. More presents were exchanged – most of them not wanted or last year’s presents recycled. I remember one year my mother being given a vase which was so ugly! She could not even bear to look at it, and neither could anyone else. However the following Christmas the vase took pride of place in the living room as the giver of the vase came to visit, and was quickly put away again after she had left!

If it was snowing outside, we were allowed to go out sledding with the infamous sock gloves (after the visitors had left) and stay out until it got dark. Then we came in for hot chocolate, chestnuts roasted over the fire in the lounge room, and crumpets dripping with butter and, if we wanted it, jam – usually home made. My mother made all of our own bread and jams.

Christmas night eve was spent playing with our new-found toys and sitting in front of the fire. We did not have a TV set until I was 10 years old, but once we did get a TV nobody would dare not to sit down at night and watch the Queen giving her annual speech. We went to bed full of food and good times, usually very tired and hardly able to keep our eyes open. We had another holiday the next day known as Boxing Day. The British and other Commonwealth countries still celebrate Boxing Day today. Any left over meat from Christmas day was used up in pies, soups, stews and other meals.

For some reason we rarely had a turkey which most people had each year on Christmas day. My father preferred a goose (very greasy) or a duck or leg of pork. I can still see the huge leg of pork with its crispy crackling coming out of the oven. My mouth is watering at the memory of it!

Christmas has not changed much over the years, except for the fact that department stores sell toys all year round, and chocolate and candy are available all year too. I ceased being a Christian many years ago, so I no longer celebrate the religious holiday. I do, however, enjoy the winter celebration, and this year here in Seattle where we live, we have snow! Memories of my childhood are flooding back, some of which this season I am sharing with you.

Wherever you are in the world, I personally would like to wish you a wonderful time. If you celebrate a family Christmas, may this be a wonderful time of companionship and fellowship. Alan and I have 10 people for dinner this year on Christmas Day, no family, but very dear friends who have accepted our invitation to dine with us.

Body Weight and Spiritual Work

I have had a battle with my weight since I was 21 years of age and went on the birth pill on the advice of my doctor. Whether I should have taken the advice or not has always been a question mark within me. I went from a size 12/14 up to a size 24 in three months and basically stayed that way all of my life. I did lose weight a couple of times and kept it off for a while. My lowest size was twenty years ago when I got down to a size 12 again and kept it off for 6 weeks! I had gone through a difficult time with my marriage and had separated for 6 weeks. I had lost weight all year and decided to go back to my, then, ex. He told me I was too thin, and I in my effort to be what he wanted, began eating again a lot of the things I had avoided which were high in carbs. Within a few months, I was back to a size 24 again. I did not realize then that the reason for my weight was the work I was to do. For me, to be the medium/channel I am, I need to carry weight – not so much fat, but water.

I read recently that Oprah Winfrey is back up to 200 pounds again and that, in a letter to the public, she said how ashamed she feels knowing what she knows and having the awareness she does about nutrition. However, I remembered Pavarotti losing weight and gaining it, and losing and gaining it in the last years of his life. I noticed that, when he lost weight, his voice did not carry as much power. Oprah Winfrey does not realize it, but she is a channel for Spirit. They use her, just like they use me, to bring the words of Spirit to the world. It is her show, Oprah, which over the last 20+ years has brought spiritual/metaphysical subjects to the world. For me, it is the Maitreya website and then, of course, this website as well as all the teaching/readings that I do. Like Oprah, I have despaired of my weight over the years, but unlike Oprah and some of my friends, I have not become obsessed with it. Yes, I have tried a couple of times to lose weight, but it has not been constant.

What is the purpose of this writing? It is to let the world know that, if you work for Spirit, there is a distinct possibility you will put weight on and also have a problem taking it off. Also, it is not so much fat as water, and that water is what Spirit uses as energy to do their work through us on the earth plane. My husband, Alan, put on 25 pounds within a year of being with me in the beginning. He did not eat any more either; he just put the extra weight on.

So what if you are thin? Does this mean you cannot be a medium/channel? No, it does not. It does mean though that you will not have the staying power in doing the work. In my case, I can work and work and work. Alan says I am like the Eveready bunny, the logo for a type of battery in the USA which they guarantee will run longer than the others. I rarely get tired. However, my friend in New Zealand who is thin is a brilliant astrologer and channel, but she can only do about 15 readings a week – if that – and runs out of energy very quickly.

People love my energy, just as they did Pavarotti’s, and Oprah’s. I have never been able to understand it, but recently at a concert Alan and I attended the woman who sat next to me made comment on my energy and how she could nestle up to me; how warm I was. I know I could not be like that without the body weight. It is that “warmth” which draws people into my energy like flies to a sticky paper.

Oprah should not be ashamed of her weight. I used to be, but I am no longer. Would I like to be a size 14/16? You bet, but I know it is not possible while I work for Spirit. I do not advocate that you all go out there and eat to your heart’s content. I honestly do not eat a lot of things which are considered the fat person’s comfort such as chocolate, candy, cakes, and cookies. I do not exercise a lot and that could be the problem, but after a week of working for Spirit, I rarely have the energy to do that kind of thing. If I did, of course it would affect the weight!

A medical doctor, someone who attends our center and is very interested in the metaphysical, told me the other day she liked me the way I was, and I seemed very healthy (she sees and senses people’s energy). I came to the realization that I love myself too. If I lose weight, good and well. If not, too bad. At least I will know that Spirit can use my body for their work on the earth plane. It is so important, that work.

If you are carrying weight, do you find that people come up to you and tell you all of their problems? Do you take on people’s pain, depression and emotional issues? Do you find yourself starving after doing any kind of work where you help others? If you answered “Yes” to these questions, you can bet you are working for Spirit. Many people do, and do not even know it.

I was told when I was 14 years of age that our health is caused by the state of our minds. If we are happy inside, our body will be happy. I was thinking today of the number of really large people who have lived to long ripe ages. I personally can name at least 10. So my New Year’s resolution is to be happy and let my body take care of itself. Of course my Self will not be happy, but then I am not catering to my Self, but to my Higher Self these days. Go Spirit!!

Devotion To My Words

Message from Maitreya:

My purpose on the earth plane is to bring the message of freedom of choice and to release all fear. To some this may seem a hard thing to do, for many just cannot make a choice, and even more cannot release their fear. There are others though who take my words as if they are a voice from God, which creates tension in their family or personal life. More than anything, my words should NOT create this problem.

Another of my messages is about communication and making sure communication is clear in all you do. However, for some reason there are some who, because of the way they read my words, cease communication with those around them and live, breathe, and rely totally on the words I channel from the Spirit world. I know that there are many who, when they read my words, become addicted to those words and the words which follow. They have finally found THEIR truth, finally found something which resonates with them. However, this should not stop them from communicating with those around them and, more importantly, it should not stop them communicating with their family and friends. My message is one of unification, of love, of compassion and understanding, NOT of separation or isolation.

If you are one of those who, on reading my words, have isolated yourself or separated yourself from your past, just know it is not my purpose to instigate or ask this of anyone. I ask you to respect those around you. If they choose because of their belief not to communicate with you, then that is their problem. However, if my words resonate with you in finally enabling you to see it is time to leave and walk away from a relationship or situation which no longer resonates with you, then leave that situation. You are living a lie if you stay in that situation.

Do try though not to ignore your partner, friend, husband or wife. Let them know your situation. Do not be afraid of change and of moving into a new energy, for life is in constant change, and sometimes it is necessary to make changes for one’s own happiness and health situation. Remember that the one you have problems with could be your best friend from our world who has come to enable you to learn and grow, not an enemy or someone to fear. If you can be compassionate, understanding, communicative, and open and do not shut people out of your life, then you are truly practicing my words as they have been written since I began channeling through Margaret.
